Lemon Verbena is a perennial shrub, originating from South America, which grows up to 3 meters. It has small white flowers which grow in clusters at the branch ends. Lemon verbena can be used to add lemon flavour to fish and poultry dishes. Add chopped leaves to marinades and dressings, fruit salads and drinks.

A hot herbal infusion of lemon verbena acts as a mild sedative. It’s also used to treat fevers and minor digestive disorders.
